Coronation Street and Hear’Say star Kym Marsh has married her long-term partner, army major Scott Ratcliff, after announcing their engagement earlier this year.
Kym, 45, and Scott, 33, have got hitched at Sandhurst military academy in an intimate and romantic ceremony in front of family, friends and famous faces.
The news of the couple’s romantic ceremony was confirmed by OK! magazine.
Family, friends and celebrities were in attendance at the intimate wedding, including famous friend Carol Vorderman, who posted about the day on social media.
Taking to Instagram to share the news before the blushing – who is yet to make a social media announcement of her nuptials – Carol posted a snap of her ensemble and wrote a sweet caption.
The former Countdown beauty said: “Soooo my big bud Clare and I went to our Kym’s @marsh_kym wedding yesterday at Sandhurst. It was BEAUTIFUL. Major Scott and the new Mrs Ratcliff were entrancing and so in love. A properly gorgeous life-enhancing day.”
Before concluding with: “Life is good….xx #wedding”
As well as famous faces, family members were in attendance too – including Kym’s dad David, who has incurable prostate cancer.

The former Hear’Say singer had previously revealed that it was a dream of hers for her dad to walk her down the aisle and give her away.
In a previous interview she said: “My mum and dad absolutely adore Scott, they think he’s wonderful. This [wedding] is a bit of good news, because dad’s not too well, but responding well to his latest treatment.

“They can’t cure him, but their hope is that it slows everything down and we get some good time with him. I think the main thing is taking the pain away. He’s being taken care of and he doesn’t let things get him down too much.”
The newlyweds got engaged earlier this year, when Scott got down on one knee on Kym’s 45th birthday after three years together.
In a previous interview with OK! Magazine, she spoke about the wedding plans where she said: “We’ve already booked it, it’s this year! Scott went away and did it all.”

Kym and her now-husband met through one of her colleagues when she worked behind the bar at the Rovers Return while starring in Coronation Street.
Anthony Cotton was a mutual friend of the newlyweds, and the met in 2018 because of him.
Kym and Scott hit it off and the rest is history, with the pair now stepping into the winter months as husband and wife.
The day prior to the wedding, actor-turned-matchmaker Anthony even posted a sneaky post on Twitter.
Clearly smug over his matchmaking skills, on October 15 the Corrie star penned: “Final rehearsal done at @RMASandhurst. Honoured to be Master of Ceremonies here tomorrow for @msm4rsh and Scott.”

The Corrie actress has four children: Emily Mae Cunliffe, Archie Jay Lomas, Polly Lomas, David Ryan Cunliffe – from two previous relationships.
