'Bedwetters' slammed for attempt to cancel Christmas films like Love Actually

Bedwetters are being savaged for trying to cancel classic Christmas films including It’s A Wonderful Life and Love Actually.

The woke zealots have also moaned modern festive flicks such as Love Actually, The Holiday and The Santa Clause are laced with women-hating messages, racism, stalking and workplace harassment.

Fans of common sense have lashed back at their claims by flooding social media with warnings for the PC brigade to “get to f***” and stop using their “bulls**t” to try and ruin Christmas.

One ranted: “Absolutely get to f*** Twitter mobs – It’s A Wonderful Life is a beautiful and life affirming film, with a beautiful positivity that’s needed at a time that’s very lonely and depressing for some people.”

Hand-wringing dafties insisted director Frank Capra’s 1946 classic It’s A Wonderful Life is now “deeply problematic”.

They have taken issue with a scene in which its main character George Bailey, played by James Stewart, catches his future wife Mary in a bush after her robe slips off and refuses to give it back – before he jokes the “police would be on my side” about keeping her in the buff.

Woke warriors also slammed a confrontation that sees George yell in his wife’s face before grabbing and passionately kissing her – as they say she didn’t give consent.

One babbled: “George Bailey was an emotionally abusive and a manipulative misogynist.”

Others fumed the flick wasn’t diverse enough and didn’t feature black actors.

The PC mob are also fighting to get Love Actually cancelled due to the famous scene in which actor Andrew Lincoln’s character Mark tries to woo his best pal’s wife (Keira Knightley) with a bunch of handwritten cards while her husband waits upstairs.

They have branded him a “creepy stalker”, with one raging: “This part of Love Actually is treason… it’s not cute, it’s not endearing… he’s a creepy p***k who’s in love with his best friend’s wife… no for me.”

Another said: “F**k you Mark. That s**t ain’t romantic or cute it’s creepy as hell and if that was done now he’d be outed all over the internet like the weirdo stalker that he is.”

Yet more woke film fans blasted women for being seen as “weak” and “passive” in the film.

And Hugh Grant’s prime minister character is accused of using his power to bed his tealady, played by Martine McCutcheon.

Others blasted Jack Black’s character Miles in The Holiday for being a “sociopath” who leads on Kate Winslet’s singleton.

And 1994’s The Santa Clause starring Tim Allen as Kris Kringle is said to contain racism, workplace harassment and sexism.

But one film viewer hit back: “I want to cancel them!”

Another seethed: “These movies are classics so STOP with all the political BS. Happy Holidays.”
