Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver have reportedly got officially divorced 10 years after separating.
The exes were estranged for years after Maria filed for divorce back in July 2011.
According to TMZ, the divorce has been mediated by a private judge and that judge signed off on the divorce earlier this month.
However, it reportedly needed to be entered into the court system by a sitting judge, which happened on Tuesday morning.
Both Arnold and Maria moved on years ago and they both have been in relationships but stayed cordial with each other.
They have also have gatherings with their four children over the past decade since their relationship ended.
Arnold and Maria got married in 1986 and have four children together: Katherine, 32, Christina, 30, Patrick, 28, and Christopher, 24.
The journalist filed for divorce after learning the news that he’d fathered a child – Joseph Baena – with their housekeeper.
The divorce took over decade due to a lack of motivation and a complex property settlement agreement, the publication said.
It has also been reported that there was an estimated $400 million involved in the property settlement.
Arnold was represented by Kristina Royce while Maria hired Laura Wasser.
Joseph was born only a few days after Maria gave birth to the couple’s fourth child, Christopher.
However, it wasn’t until May 2011 that it was revealed that Mildred Patricia “Patty” Baena child was his.
Terminator star Arnold was not aware Joseph was his son until seven or eight years after he was born.
Despite their split, the exes remained cordial over the years and have both moved on romantically.
Arnold has been dating physical therapist Heather Milligan for over eight years while Maria was in a relationship with Matthew Dowd.
It comes after Arnold was left heartbroken following the death of bodybuilding legend Dave Draper.
The pair used to train together and Draper was one of the Austrian’s biggest inspirations as he rose through the bodybuilding and weightlifting ranks.
