Nadia Sawalha issues warning to Loose Women co-stars after facing backlash

Loose Women’sNadia Sawalha revealed she ‘never reads about herself’ before going on the ITV show amid rumours of a feud between her and the other panellists.

It is reported that Loose Women stars including Stacey Solomon, 32, and Nadia, 57, both refuse to appear on the ITV talk show with Coleen Nolan, 56.

Despite Coleen continually denying the rumours and Stacey, Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards defending their co-star, it has not stopped fans from speculating.

Nadia has now revealed that before she appears on the panel she will not read “anything” and had told newbie co-stars to do the same “because it will affect you.”

Speaking to The Mirror, she said: “What you want to do is you want to be totally free. So no, those that mind don’t matter and those that matter don’t mind. That is my mantra. It’s what I teach my kids.”

The 57-year-old went on to explain how she doesn’t allow negative comments to bother her.

She continued: “If I get trolled, if I get anything like that, I just think, would I go out there now and ask the person at the bus stop what they think of me and then take it to heart and go in and really worry about and keep myself up at night? No.

“I know myself pretty well and what somebody I don’t know says about me doesn’t doesn’t do anything to me.”

The TV star is married to husband Mark whom she has openly discussed his mental health and addiction struggles in the past.

Nadia has now established a “system” that works well for them to cope.

She said: “We eat really well, we exercise to make us feel better – not to look better – looking better is a side effect of exercise. The first effect is it is a drug for me for my mental health.”

The couple have two children together daughters Maddie and Kiki who have their own YouTube channel and discuss everything from mental health to reviewing the latest films.

Nadia continued: “I talk to my kids about mental health in exactly the same way I talk to them about their physical health.

“I live with somebody who lives with depression and it’s an incredibly tough, tough, tough thing. I suppose he’s made me grateful that I don’t – which doesn’t mean I don’t get down or anxious.”
