Strictly's Ranvir Singh shows off glam hair transformation after 'quitting ITV role'

Strictly Come Dancing star Ranvir Singh has wowed fans with her glam hair transformation.

The 44-year-old GMB presenter has switched up her image by adding some blonde highlights to her trademark brunette locks.

She proudly unveiled her new look on her Instagram story in view of her 119,000 followers.

Ranvir reposted a photograph taken by celebrity hairdresser, Luca Jones.

He captioned the stunning snap: ““New year new hair. Fresh set of extensions on Ranvir from @simplyhairuk.

“We mixed up the colours to create a soft balayage without any damage to Ranvir’s natural hair.”

Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Ranvir posed for the picture wearing a jumper with her fresh locks framing her face.

Ranvir works as Political Editor and newsreader on the popular ITV breaking show, but insiders claim she handed in her notice at the end of last year as she’s looking for a bigger role on GMB.

The sources also suggested she was sick of the cold mornings which had her standing on the doorstep of Number 10 as she covered political stories.

The mother of one often fills in for regular host Susanna Reid when she is unable to present, such as this week when she covered for Susanna during half term.

However, she apparently wants a more substantial role on GMB, and show bosses are determined to keep her on board.

A source told The Sun: “Ranvir is ready for a new challenge at Good Morning Britain and she wants a bigger role within the team.

“She quietly stepped down as the political editor of the show in anticipation of having a more substantial part to play.

“Ranvir covers for Susanna Reid when she is away and this week has stepped into her shoes during half term. But she wants more and the bosses at GMB are clamouring to give it to her.

“She is a hugely popular member of GMB and keeping Ranvir on board is something everyone wants.

The source went on to say that Ranvir is a “real talent” who also works on ITV shows like Loose Women, and is launching a new ITV gameshow this year called Riddiculous.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV
