The Apprentice fans baffled as contestants prepare corporate dishes after paying out

Fans of The Apprentice were clearly left confused by the events that took place in the latest episode, as the contestants were tasked with preparing corporate dishes even though they paid an arm and a leg for them.

The remaining entrepreneurs were entrusted with offering a high-end experience at Silverstone race track to business clients.

Within the package, the clients were offered an enticing meal, but several fans were left perplexed when they realised that Lord Alan Sugar’s potential apprentices had to make the food themselves.

But things were even more confusing due to the fact that the contestants spent quite a lot of money on the meals.

The Apprentice fans were confused by the fact that they were tasked with cooking

Taking to Twitter, fans shared their thoughts online: “Thought they were getting caterers but ended up more like Hello Fresh. £26 a head for rice. I’m in the wrong business.”

Another fan questioned “Why are they preparing food? They just negotiated a price for meals.”

A third chimed: “Why are the chuckle brothers and Harpreet and Akeem making the food? Sorry but was did they pay £13 and £26 for respectively? Raw ingredients? Doesn’t seem right does it…”

While a fourth added: “Why the f**k are they making the meals, I thought they paid stupid money for someone else to do it.”

Fans shared their confusion online

With things clearly getting out of hand on project manager Stephanie Affleck’s team, it was clear that making the food by themselves was a bigger task than she initially thought.

After finishing a tour of Silverstone’s museum with her corporate clients relatively quickly, the food which was prepared by Nick Showering and Akshay Thakrar was not ready to be consumed at all.

With their hungry clients waiting, it was clear that the food aspect also resulted in the team losing the task overall.

Nick took on the role of kitchen chef

Back at the boardroom, Stephanie’s team was hit with refunds as the client complained that the experience was far from luxurious.

But after a long deliberation on who was ultimately responsible for the failure of the task, Lord Alan seemed to point the finger at Nick, as he deemed him as someone who didn’t show enough of himself throughout the weeks.

Sharing their thoughts regarding the firing on Twitter, one fan questioned: “How the hell was that not a double firing?”

While another said: “I can’t believe he kept Stephanie??”
