Lorraine fans descended into chaos as the programme disappears during a chat with TV cook Delia Smith.
The 62-year-old host was mid conversation with the culinary expert when the show suffered a technical glitch which caused viewers to lose connection.
Worried fans immediately bombarded Twitter with their comments regarding the 10 second long blunder.
One fan asked straight away: “Erm… Where’s #lorraine gone?”
Another joked at the time: “Best thing ever to happen to #lorraine oh s*** it’s back.”
While a third fumed: “Erm…who’s playing games at ITV?! #Lorraine.”
As a fourth person quipped: “Are the Russians trying to hack #lorraine?”
Later on, Lorraine Kelly returned to screens to address the issue that had caused fans to miss out on Delia’s interview.
She said: “Right now I should tell you when I was talking to Delia – wasn’t that a fantastic conversation.
You lost us. I think you all lost us for a about 10 seconds we went to black.
“Slight technical problem. All sorted now so we should be fine.”
Meanwhile, on Tuesday’s show the Scottish host left viewers in hysterics as she referred to Matt Hancock as a “Poundshop Milk Tray Man”.
Fans were shown a teaser clip of Dragon’s Den star Steven Bartlett’s Diary Of A CEO podcast which featured UK’s former Health Secretary.
In the trailer, Mr Hancock addresses rule breaking and opens up about his widespread public affair.
As the segment ended, Lorraine explained: “Yes that is Matt Hancock former Health Secretary taking to Dragon’s Den star Steven Bartlett about his resignation last year.”
Unable to control her tongue, the veteran TV star chirped: “I don’t know what he’s come as he looks like some sort of Poundshop Milk Tray Man maybe.”
