Love Island star Millie Court has shared further insight into what goes on behind the scenes on the show including details of where certain cameras are strategically placed.
The 25 year old, who won last year’s show alongside her partner Liam Reardon, spoke openly on her YouTube channel where she answered questions from inquisitive fans.
When asked whether there were any rooms where islanders are not being filmed, Millie was happy to clarify that there wasn’t any as well as mentioning that there is a camera in the toilet.
She said: “So, no there’s not.
“The whole villa, I think it was something like 74 cameras over the whole villa.”
The Love Island bombshell added: “There’s cameras wherever you go, there’s even cameras in the bathroom and the toilet because obviously you have a private bit just for the toilet.
“You have a bathroom and then a separate room for where you go for a wee and poo and there’s a camera right directly in front of you like this,” she explained while raising her hand directly in front of her.
However the star was quick to clarify that the camera that is located in the toilet is only used for security purposes and the footage from the camera is not included in the actual show.
She said: “But they say nobody looks at that, that’s a security camera. So if anything was to happen, I don’t know something happened like you fainted on the toilet whatever, they can look at the camera and see what happened.”
Later on, Millie also spoke about how she applied for the ITV show while letting fans know that she wasn’t approached or scouted through social media.
The Love Island winner spoke about the 60 second video she had to send over to producers to secure her place on the programme.
Laughing, Millie recalled: “We were in my living room, we set up this backdrop of white sheets. We already had a photoshoot that day and we were like right let’s film the first 30 seconds of the video.
“I was doing 30 seconds of me talking and then 30 seconds of a compilations of videos of like funny videos of me out drunk doing stupid s**t basically.”
Millie then went onto share some of the clip of the video that she sent over to producers which including her talking directly to the camera.
Love Island airs nightly on ITV2 and ITV Hub at 9pm
