Love Island season two remains one of the most iconic series of the show so far since its return back in 2015.
The show was full of explosive moments and featured many contestants who are still on the radar of fans today.
From Miss Great Britain Zara Holland losing her crown after being caught in the act on air, to two couples going on to marry, it was a series to go down in Love Island history.

As the current series of Love Island continues to hot up, Daily Star is taking a look at where the cast of season two are now.
Olivia and Alex Bowen
Olivia had a difficult time in the villa finding her match in the island but it all changed when hunky Alex Bowen came along.
Despite Alex initially spending an infamous night with Zara Holland in the Hideaway, it soon became clear there were sparks between him and Olivia.
The pair are one of the few to make it work on the outside and tied the knot in 2018 in a lavish ceremony, which was documented in their own reality show.
Olivia and Alex also welcomed their first child together called Abel in June 2022.
Back in the limelight, Olivia also appeared in a tell-all MTV online series with fellow former islanders, Megan Barton Hanson and Yewande Biala.
She also has fashion deals with brands including MissPap and walked the runway at London Fashion Week, while hubby Alex also released his own debut fashion line with MVMNT London.
Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey
Cara and Nathan quickly won the hearts of the nation, coupling up right at the start of season 2.
They went on to become a solid pairing and went on to win the series weeks later.
Despite splitting less than a year after that, they later rekindled their romance and Cara became pregnant with their first child, Freddie.
Three years after they first met the couple later married in a beautiful ceremony in 2019, as well as welcoming a daughter called Delilah.
Nathan revealed to OK! Magazine that he took her back to the Love Island Villa for the sweet proposal, telling OK! Magazine: “I brought her back to where we met and took her on a little treasure hunt around the villa to different places which meant something to us.
“Finally, I blindfolded her, led her to the pool and got down on one knee.
“It was so romantic that he proposed in the Love Island villa. This is where we met – we’ve come full circle.”
Scott Thomas
After Scott entered into the island, it emerged the club promoter had two very well known siblings.
He’s the brother of former Emmerdale star Adam Thomas and Corrie’s Jason Grimshaw star Ryan Thomas.
In the show, Scott was coupled up with firecracker Kady McDermott before the pair broke up the following year.
He now owns the PR agency, The Social PR, which has some seriously high profile clients including PrettyLittleThing – where another former islander Molly Mae-Hague is the Creative Director.
Scott also returned to screens alongside his brothers for documentary series Absolutely India: Mancs in Mumbai which saw them learn more about their heritage.
Malin Andersson
After Malin left the villa, she soon came back to confront Terry over his romance with Emma after he moved on just a day-and-a-half after her exit.
Since Love Island, Malin has had a difficult time of loss, losing both her mum and baby daughter Consy.
Last year, Malin shared with her followers she had suffered a miscarriage: “I found out I was pregnant – and I then soon after miscarried.
“It pains me to talk about this in detail right now due to what happened to Consy… but I want you all to know that miscarriage doesn’t discriminate and it can happen to anyone. Even when you think you have gone through enough.”

Malin has since welcomed a daughter called Xaya, and has spoken openly about taking her older sister Consy’s grave, describing the “bittersweet moment” on social media.
She said: “It was a heartwarming feeling, taking Xaya somewhere special and close to my heart. However, it is also very difficult as her older sister is no longer here to guide her and be with her.”
She continued: “The funny thing is, Xaya smiled and laughed. She giggled as I leant down next to Consy’s grave and that gave me some crazy amount of overwhelming peace, almost like she could feel her.”
Malin has been an active role model for body positivity and is routinely praised by her fans for her candid posts in all areas of her life.
Kady McDermott
Kady arrived in the villa on day three, coupling up with Scott after stealing him off Zara.
She was known for having a fair few bust ups whilst in the show, including with Malia Arkian – who had to be removed from the villa.
After the show, Kady and Scott stayed together for a year before splitting up.
She has since appeared on TOWIE with ex Myles Barnett and had a number of explosive rows with his ex Courtney Green, however she and Myles eventually split.
Kady also moved into business in 2021, launching her own make-up line called By Kady, and a fitness website called Body Goals By Kady – as well as a renovations company called Our Village Project.
Zara Holland
Zara entered the villa fresh from receiving her title as Miss Great Britain.
It is reported that Zara left the villa after her mum became ill, with the star leaving Love Island and returning to the UK.
However her short time on Love Island was not without its controversies, when her Miss Great Britain title was later taken away from her when she was seen engaging in a sexual act with Alex Bowen on-air.
Despite a petition from fans to reinstate her, the crown was given away to another contestant.
It’s not the only moment of controversy Zara has been involved with as, during the Covid panemic, she and boyfriend Elliott Love tried to leave their holiday in Barbados before their quarantine period was over.
The pair were later intercepted at the Grantley Adams International Airport airport and arrested, with Zara later being fined $12,000.
Away from the limelight, Zara has followed a similar path to her fellow islanders and launched her own fashion boutique called Mimi’s Boutique.
Terry Walsh
Terry caused plenty of trouble when he entered the Love Island villa, upsetting a few love interests along the way.
He first caught the eye of Olivia before deciding he wanted to couple up with Malin.
However, once she left he quickly moved onto Emma Jane Woodham, who he dated for a few months before calling it quits after the show.
Terry has very little social media presence these days but it was confirmed he had become a father for the first time with fiancée Danielle Purdy.
Danielle revealed on her Instagram account she had given birth to their daughter, named Talia Renè-Rose, in March 2021.
Sophie Gradon
Sophie became a much-loved contestant on the show, coupled up with Tom Powell before entering into the first-ever same-sex coupling with Katie Salmon.
But after the island, Sophie struggled with online trolls and spoke out about the abuse she had received on social media.
Sophie heartbreakingly later took her own life in 2018, with fellow stars paying tribute to her on social media.
Geordie Shore’s Holly Hagan tweeted: “You were only helping me battle the Twitter trolls yesterday. Rest in peace beautiful.”
Nathan Henry of Geordie Shore said: “Rest in peace you beautiful little angel, the heavens are blessed with a beautiful smile. RIP.”
Three weeks later, it was reported that her boyfriend Aaron Armstrong had also died.
Adam Maxted
Adam finished fourth on the show alongside Katie Salmon but their romance didn’t make it past the show.
It was later reported the 6’3” wrestling star was potentially about to sign for WWE.
The Northern Irish hunk often posts shirtless snaps showing off his ripped physique as well as detailing his wrestling career on social media, and giving updates about his coming matches.
It looks as though he has found love too as he shared a sweet snap with apparent current girlfriend Carly Taylor late last year of the pair seemingly on holiday together.
Tom Powell
Welsh lad Tom Powell was coupled up with Sophie Gradon during his time in the villa.
Since then, he has opted to get his kit off online, charging fans around £10 a month to see his raunchy content on OnlyFans which – according to his page – “includes full erect frontal”.
He is also an online health and fitness coach, sharing his tips on Instagram and his own website.
Recently, the star opened up about his addiction to steroids which left him needing to get breast surgery.
He live-streamed the operation after he was left with gynaecomastia – a condition where breast tissue in men becomes larger than normal, which had been caused by steroids.
However he said he had no plans to stop taking steroids despite his issues.
