When asked about his skating experience, Joey admitted he’s “not the best skater,” but revealed he used to skate a little when he was younger.

The star has found incredible success in reality competitions, making it to the final four in I’m A Celebrity and being crowned champion of The Jump in 2015.

Speaking about winning The Jump, Joey said: “I don’t know how I won that!

“But this is one of them shows that winning would be a bonus. I would love to win. I’m going to put all my energy into this!,” he added.

Alison questioned whether Joey tried to sign up for Dancing on Ice in previous years but was “turned down”.

He responded: “When I came out of the jungle in 2013, I met the producers and went on the ice. I think I was just messing about. I was probably a bit more immature back then but I like to say I’ve matured. I’ve grown up.

“Back then it probably wouldn’t have been right for me, personally, and I believe that and I think the producers knew that as well.”

Joey went on to say that he is “so ready” for the show, adding that he is prepared for the commitment and will no doubt give it his all.
