Michael Douglas, 78, unrecognisable at basketball game as he shows off new look

Michael Douglas looked totally unrecognisable as he watched a basketball game in Paris.

The 78-year-old gave fans another look at his new autumnal hair transformation, while front row at the game.

Micheal, whose career spans more than five decades, is currently enjoying a trip in Paris along with his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Earlier today (November 5) Michael was spotted attending the Metropolitans 92 v CSP Limoges basketball match.

In the picture, Michael could be seen munching on popcorn as he sat VIP to watch the game.

However, when the Hollywood star stood up, his figure and posture appeared as if he was arched over slightly.

While at the game, Michael continued to show off his new hair, as his long auburn tresses ran free, highlighting his grey roots.

He kept his ensemble casual for the event – slipping into a navy blue jacket, teamed with a jumper and dark trousers.

For accessorises, the dad-of opted for black trainers and a matching blue cap.

Earlier this week, Michael stunned fans by swapping his suave silver do for a long, red mane of hair.

The Award-winning actor has sported his smart “silver fox” look for a while but has undergone quite the dramatic makeover.

He unveiled his startling transformation in a video on Instagram as he enjoyed a trip to Paris.

It showed the sunglasses-clad star beaming as he stood on a balcony and wished his fans lots of love.

Michael was wearing a baseball cap but his long ginger locks could be seen waving in the breeze.

Some fans loved The Kominsky Method star’s new look and posted messages on Instagram saying he looked “so hot” and “fit”.

But a fair few said they much preferred his natural silver grey.

“Go dye your hair back to grey and get a haircut,” urged one person.

Another said: “Men – go figure. MD has wonderful hair for a guy his age, and looked handsome naturally silver – you do not look younger MD with ginger hair, simply odd?”

“Cut your hair!” pleaded another of the actor’s admirers.

You got lockdown hair… from the first one… 2020,” remarked one of Michael’s followers.

Some people said they hoped Michael’s new look was just for a film or television role, rather than anything more permanent.

“So you’re making a new movie?” said one.

“Are you growing hair for a movie??!” another person posted.
