Emmerdale’s Jacob Gallagher is set to leave his dad David Metcalfe horrified as he lies about who his dad is to his friends.
As Christmas gets into full swing, David is determined to reunite with his ex Victoria Barton for the festive period.
The pair split after he submitted her name for a speeding offence he committed, leaving her furious as she found out the truth.

Growing fed up with his bad decisions and shady behaviour, Victoria called time on their relationship after the fine and points on her license were the final straw.
It seems Victoria isn’t the only one growing embarrassed of David’s antics, as he tells a big lie to his friends about his parents.
During a street party, started by Ethan who takes the PA system from the church and sets it up in the street with disco lights and drinks, Jacob gets caught out.
He lies to his friends that Doctor Liam is his dad, which is overheard by a heartbroken David as he hears Leyla being referred to his mum but not him as his father.
Jacob is mortified by the lie and soon does his best to try and build bridges with his dad during the festivities.
During a family meal, Jacob tries to reconcile with his dad, but will he forgive him for his slip up?
Meanwhile, Isabel Hodgins has teased that David and Victoria could reunite, saying to press: “I think she’s tempted because there is love still there for him.
“The Christmas grotto and trying to make an effort with the business is all for Victoria’s benefit. He’s hoping to be a better man and hoping she will see that.”
Will the pair end up getting back together as he finally gets his act back together?
