Kim Kardashian bursts into tears over 'hard' co-parenting with ex Kanye West

Kim Kardashian burst into tears as she discussed the struggles she has faced while co-parenting her children with Kanye West.

The businesswoman and Kanye started divorce proceedings in February 2021, just one month after speculation began to mount suggesting that the couple had separated.

In recent months, she has opened up about her split from the rapper on her family TV show, The Kardashians but has now spoken candidly about their current relationship just one month after their divorce was finalised.

The former couple share North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four and Psalm, three.

Speaking on the Angie Martinez IRL Podcast, the Skims founder broke down as she said: “I had the best dad, I don’t want to get emotional.

“It has just been a day for me, it’s hard sh*t co-parenting, it’s really f***ing hard you know.”

Kim went on to reveal that despite the circumstances surrounding her and Kanye splitting, she smiles and “blasts” his music on the school run if her four children ask to listen to Ye’s material and “act like nothing’s wrong”.

The mum-of-four later said she had the “best memories” and “best experiences” and that is “all she wants” for hers and Kanye’s children.

Kim continued: “So like if they don’t know things that are being said or what’s happening in the world like why would I ever bring that energy to them? You know, that’s like real heavy, heavy grown-up s***t that they are not ready to, like, deal with.

“And when they are we will have those conversations and I’ll be so prepared but until then I will do anything to keep their life as normal as possible.”

The billionaire says she “protected” her former husband and also shielded their children from their marital drama which saw Kanye claim he and Kim once contemplated aborting their first child, North.

She explained: “In my home, my kids don’t anything that goes on in the outside world and I’ve managed to, I’m holding on by a thread.

“I know I’m so close to that not happening, but while it’s still that way, I will protect that to the end of the Earth as long as I can.”

She said that no children at her kid’s school speak about her and Kanye’s relationship and she speaks to the teachers to find out what the latest talking point is.

The once-almighty couple finalised their divorce last month and agreed that they will share joint custody of their children and have “equal access”.
