I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Matt Hancock earned a whopping £320,000 for is stint on the show.
The former Health Secretary’s fee for his appearance on the hit ITV reality endurance show has been revealed after it was featured in documents published by the House Of Commons.
The sum from Lifted Entertainment was registered on January 11, 2023 and is payment for the 720 hours/30 days Matt spent in the Australian jungle alongside fellow stars including Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner and eventual winner and Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott.

At the time of his appearance, the MP did suggest that he would be donating a portion of his fee to charities including St Nicholas Hospice in Suffolk and causes supporting dyslexia – including the British Dyslexia Association – with The Mirror reporting £10,000 was donated.
Matt, 44, previously told The Sun that the money wasn’t what convinced him to take part in the show after he initially turned the opportunity down and that he only accepted after thinking “long and hard” about taking part.
He said: “It wasn’t the cheque that changed my mind. I will be making a donation to St Nicholas Hospice in Suffolk and causes supporting dyslexia off the back of my appearance.
“I will, of course, also declare the amount I receive from the show to Parliament to ensure complete transparency, as normal.”
While Matt’s performance on the show saw him win over the public after taking part in numerous Bushtucker Trials winning meals for the camp over and over, he has faced some backlash from the public since he returned to normal life.
Earlier this week Matt found himself fearing for his safety when he was attacked by a member of the public while on the London Underground near Westminster.
Geza Tarjanyi, from Leyland, Lancashire, has since been arrested and charged with common assault and two public order offences over the incident.
British Transport Police have confirmed that Tarjanyi has been released on bail and will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 22 February.
The alleged attack reportedly began at Westminster station on Tuesday and continued on a Tube train.
Matt has already announced that he will step down from his role as MP for West Suffolk and not run for parliament in the next general election.
