In the episode the Prince and Princess walk in holding big signs demanding privacy before sitting down to discuss the Prince’s new book entitled “WAHH” a clear reference to Harry’s recent memoir Spare.
The animated TV host says: “You’ve lived a life with the royal family, you’ve had everything handed to you, but you say your life has been hard, and now you’ve written all about it in your new book ‘WAAAGH’.”
The host the holds up a copy of “WAAAGH,” which shows the Prince’s face and has a strong resemblance to the cover of Prince Harry’s memoir Spare.
The Prince confirms this and his wife rudely inturpts him saying that his “family” and “journalists” are “like stupid.”
The host of the show then accuses The Prince of being a journalist for writing his own book and the wife says: “We just want to be normal people. All this attention is so hard!”
The the host made another savage quip: “Isn’t it true sir, that your questionable wife has her own TV show and hangs out with celebrities and does fashion magazines?” Clearly referring to Markle’s former TV show “Suits” and career in Hollywood.
He adds: “Well, I just think that some people might say that your Instagram-loving b—- wife actually doesn’t want her privacy.”
The prince then shouted angrily: “How dare you, sir!”
“My Instagram-loving b—- wife has always wanted her privacy!”
The prince then declares that he and his wife are leaving Canada to find a place where they can be “normal people” before storming off the set.
South Park’s gag was an obvious dig at Harry and Meghan, who have received a lot of real life press regarding their Oprah Winfrey interview, their Netflix docuseries and Harry’s new memoir titled Spare.
To rub salt in the wound, a teaser for the show saw South Park icon Kyle complaining about the prince and princess.
He quipped: “It’s seriously driving me crazy. I’m sick of hearing them but I can’t get away from them, they’re everywhere. In my f***ing face.”
