Simon Cowell, 63, has reportedly been offered a massive salary from Channel 5 bosses to move over to the network.
The X Factor and music tycoon has reportedly been offered a “seven-figure contract to seal the deal” despite spending “two decades at ITV”, according to reports.
The TV mogul is believed to be in talks with Channel 5 execs who are “keen” for the BGT star to make the move to the channel in a massive shake-up.

A source told The Sun: “This would be a huge move for Simon, who carved out a TV career based on BGT and X Factor on Channel 5’s rival station.
“It would effectively see him turn his back on ITV after two decades which have seen him deliver them two of their biggest hits.”
They added: “There’s a strong sense that one chapter is ending and another beginning, and Channel 5 are keen to be a part of that.”
According to the insider, Simon is all set to discuss the deal with the lead director of programmes at Channel 5, Ben Frown, later this week to discuss projects they could work on together.
The TV star is reportedly tied into a contract with ITV to be head judge on BGT until 2025.
It wouldn’t be the first time that Simon has worked with broadcasters other than ITV.
The BBC broadcasted his show The Greatest Dancer from 2019 to 2020.
And international versions of his projects are broadcast on networks abroad, with America’s Got Talent having aired on NBC since it launched back in 2006.
Auditions for the latest series of the UK version, BGT, began earlier this year at The London Palladium.
The upcoming series is set to return to screens on ITV later this year.
Simon will be back in the head judging role alongside Alesha Dixon, 44, and Amanda Holden, 52.
They’re joined by former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli, 67, for the new series.
