This Morning fans distracted as Happy Valley star sports 'underwear' during interview

This Morning fans were left distracted by actress Charlie Murphy’s choice of outfit as she appeared on the ITV daytime programme on Thursday (April 6).

Presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary welcomed Charlie, 34, and her co-star Richard Armitage into the studio to discuss their new Netflix show, Obsession.

The erotic thriller, which comes to the streaming service later this month, follows a man as his obsession with his son’s fiancée continues to grow.

But as they spoke about the new drama, fans were more focused on the Happy Valley star’s outfit as she sported a thin-strapped top which boasted lace detail across the low-cut neckline.

Sharing their thoughts on social media, one viewer wrote: “Is it warm in London she’s only got that thin frock on #thismorning.”

“She’s arrived wearing her underwear #thismorning,” added another fan, as a third commented: “#thismorning why is she wearing her nightie.”

Another viewer penned: “Charlie Murphy looking stunning as always #ThisMorning.”

Alison, 48, and Dermot, 49, joined forces for the fourth time this week as they continue standing in for Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby who are enjoying time off during the Easter break.

The regular hosts are set to return to the famous sofa on Monday, April 17.

Phil, 61, was last seen on the ITV programme on Thursday, March 23.

It comes after Phil’s brother, Timothy Schofield, was found guilty of sexually abusing a teenage boy over the course of three years at Exeter Crown Court.

Timothy, 54, was charged with 11 sexual offences involving a child between 2016 and 2019, including two counts of sexual activity with a child.

Following the verdict, Phillip said in a statement: “My overwhelming concern is and has always been for the wellbeing of the victim and his family. I hope that their privacy will now be respected.

“If any crime had ever been confessed to me by my brother, I would have acted immediately to protect the victim and their family.

“These are despicable crimes, and I welcome the guilty verdicts. As far as I am concerned, I no longer have a brother.”
