Filming on Halle Berry’s latest movie has been interrupted as a family of black bears invaded the set.
The Catwoman star is working on a number of new projects at the moment, including upcoming horror flick Never Let Go, which follows a family who have been haunted by an evil spirit for years.
The family have clung to their secret for years, but when one of their children question whether the evil is real at all, a terrifying fight for survival ensues.

Halle is also set to star in Netflix thriller Our Man From Jersey alongside Mark Wahlberg, which she shot in Croatia, and action thriller Maude Vs Maude alongside Angelina Jolie – though filming for the latter hasn’t yet kicked off.
While it’s unclear exactly which project was faced with the bear family, filming presumably came to a standstill as the animals got up close and personal with the cast.
Taking to her Instagram Stories this week, Halle shared a short video of a huge mama bear stalking along the edge of the woods, followed by two bear cubs.
The surprisingly calm star wrote on the platform: “When a mama bear and her babies show up to your set!”
North American Black Bears are common in the US and Canada, but they’ve also been spotted in Mexico.
Thankfully, the species isn’t as prolific at attacking humans as their brown cousins – the 750,000 black bears in the US kill less than one person per year on average, meaning men aged 18-24 are 167 times more likely to commit murder.
Most black bear attacks are simply defensive reactions to people getting too close, according to the North American Bear Centre.

The invasion comes after the news broke that Halle is set to star in a ‘Bond vs. Bourne’ action thriller with Angelina Jolie – and the pair will work together for the first time ever.
The Oscar-winning actresses will team up with Warner Bros for the movie after an “intense bidding war”, with a screenplay by Scott Mosier and direction from Roseanne Liang.
