Viewers of the Coronation Concert were left fuming this weekend as they compared the line-up to “a weekend at Butlins”.
Celebs and performers came together on Sunday (May 7) to perform for the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, with headliners including Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Take That.
Also slated to perform are acts like Olly Murs, Nicole Scherzinger, Paloma Faith and DJ Pete Tong.

Presenters for the night included Diversity star Jordan Banjo and Clara Amfo – but fans weren’t impressed with the star-studded line-up and decided to “watch The Chase on ITV instead”.
Taking to Twitter to air their views, one fan said: “This Coronation concert line-up sounds like a line-up from Butlins in Skegness.”
As someone else fumed: “It’s always Take That or Olly Murs on these things! CBA! Watching The Chase instead.”
A third viewer said: “Just seen the line-up for the #CoronationConcert and I’ve gone ‘who?’ for half of them!”
“Must be my age, the line-up for the Coronation concert looks pants,” another echoed.
It comes after the news emerged that King Charles specifically requested ‘Ibiza classics’ as part of the gig.
Speaking to the PA News agency, DJ Pete Tong confessed that the 74-year-old has a very specific taste in music.
He explained: “He wanted Ibiza classics, that was very specific.

Elaborating on why he thought the new monarch wanted such a bizarre performance, he added: “I think they want to put across a big variety of UK talent and touch all different demographics and be relevant to different age groups.
“I mean, the shows we do we literally get kids up to pensioners. Relapse ravers, we call them – so maybe there’s a few relapsed ravers in the royal household, we don’t know.”
