Phillip Schofield’s former This Morning colleague Eamonn Holmes has hit out once again as he slammed the presenter’s “complete lies”.
Phillip admitted he had an affair with a younger colleague in a lengthy statement, as he apologised to his co-workers and wife for his actions.

Following the news, Eamonn took to Twitter and posted: “Ruth and I [were] deceived and lied to. One day I will tell the story.
“We had no issue with him being gay, only support. What transpired took us for fools.
“The man told us complete lies and we unfortunately believed him.”
Phillip announced his exit from This Morning last weekend, and Eamonn has been making his feelings clear about his former colleague all week.
In a scathing rant, Eamonn said: “All this nonsense about, ‘I’ve decided to step down’ I’m sure you did,” he sarcastically continued. “Now here’s your P45, now step down. Why do we propagate this language? ‘I’ve decided to step down’ and [Holly] says the couch won’t feel the same without him people there.
“Well she wanted him not there, so why is she moaning about the couch not feeling the same for? They deserve each other.”
He added: “Holly knows the truth, the story is with her.”
Phillip is no longer working for ITV and has parted ways with his management company after 30 years following his admittance to the affair.
An ITV spokesperson said: “We are deeply disappointed by the admissions of deceit made tonight by Phillip Schofield.
“The relationships we have with those we work with are based on trust. Philip made assurances to us which he now acknowledges were untrue and we feel badly let down.
“We accept his resignation from ITV and therefore can confirm that he will not be appearing on ITV as had previously been stated.”
