Gogglebox favourite Stephen Webb has revealed that he was made the victim of a vile homophobic attack on the street.
The Channel 4 star and hairdresser claimed that he received abuse while walking along the sea front this week in Hove, his hometown, with his husband Daniel Lustwig.
Stephen and Daniel have appeared on the Gogglebox sofa together since 2019, a year after they tied the knot in 2018.

But unfortunately, the pair were made to endure homophobic slur during their outing as they were called “f***ots”.
Stephen took to Instagram on Wednesday (June 28) to open up about the incident, where he declared that “the fight continues” against homophobia.
He wrote: “Last night Daniel and I were called “f***ing f***ots” this was on hove sea front! The fight continues! Be aware be safe! #gay #pride #homophobiastillexists.”
Fans were fuming that the TV star had to suffer such abuse and flocked to support the couple in the comments.
One wrote: “Oh I’m so sorry that happened to you !!!!!!!! Hope your both feeling ok. Just know we all love you both and these ignorant idiots don’t deserve your time!!!!!! Sending lots of love.”
A second commented: “I’m so sorry this happened to you both. Be proud and strong.”
A third wrote: “Disgusting. This is happening in Brighton as Britain’s most lgbt friendly places.”
A fourth added: “What’s upsetting is they could have children who are gay and they’ll never be able to tell their bigoted parents. Shame on them.”
Stephen appeared on the very first series of Gogglebox, which aired in 2013, but he originally joined his ex Christopher Steed before Daniel took over in 2019.
Stephen and Daniel got married in a fairytale ceremony in France in July 2018 and were snapped together at the Chateau de Lisse in Lot-et-Garonne.
