Music legend Chesney Hawkes has recalled the moment his flight plunged 20,000ft before being forced to make an emergency landing.
The One and Only hitmaker, 51, and his wife Krissy were travelling from Greece to Barcelona when oxygen masks dropped without warning on the plane.
Concerned passengers on board were left screaming in terror as the Aegean Airlines Airbus A320 then descended rapidly.

The Eighties’ star said the crew were in foetal position on the floor as they tried to talk to guests on board.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: “We thought we were going down. Our ears hurt and babies were crying.
“The pilot came over the loudspeaker and said ‘Emergency descent — brace’.
“The plane was rattling and banked so steeply we looked out and could see the sea.
“We thought we were going into the water. Krissy and I looked at each other and hugged.”
Flight A3560 took off from Thessaloniki with 156 passengers and six crew members at 12.30pm on Monday (July 3).
However, terror struck 40 minutes into the journey at 37,000ft and was diverted to Naples in Italy.
Chesney added that he and Krissy sent a voice message on his family What’s App group telling their kids how much they loved them during the chaos.
However, he managed to delete them after he landed safely.
No one was seriously hurt and Chesney has since posed for a snap with the captain who he dubbed a “hero”.
Taking to Twitter, the singer said: “Thanku 2 all that kept their heads cool, especially #captainfantastic for landing our plane safely 2day.
“This was not what we expected 2day, but it’s made us appreciate life and those we love just that little bit more.”
Cheney and Krissy later celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary in Naples airport with a f much-needed bottle of champagne.
