Molly Rainford gives Bobby Brazier ‘secret dance lessons’ head of Strictly series

EastEnders’ Molly Rainford has confessed she has been giving her co-star Bobby Brazier “secret dance lessons” ahead of his appearance on the 21st series.

The 22-year-old soap star – who plays Anna Knight on the BBC One soap – took part on the ballroom competition last year and proudly finished sixth with her professional dance partner Carlos Gu.

It’s fair to say the blonde bombshell has showered the Freddie Slater star with support and has even shown him a few tips and tricks on the long-running show.

Now, the TV star has revealed to The Mirror that she has been giving the 20-year-old private lessons in an effort to give him an edge in the competition.

She told the publication: “I had no idea Bobby was going for Strictly but when I found out, straight away I was showing him the frame.

“I joked to him, ‘How about we practise together and then you say I taught you everything you know’. So that’s what’s happening – though of course his pro parner may say different.

“My advice to him was just to enjoy it and take it all in, and to expect it to be tougher than you thought.”

During her time on the show, Molly found love in the arms of her fellow contestant and DJ Tyler West, 27.

It comes after the full Strictly Come Dancing line-up was announced last month as the professional dancers teased viewers with a dazzling first look trailer.

The hugely popular dance competition is set to return to the airwaves on September 23, with fans to get a sneak peak of the new series later this month.

In the new clip filmed at Tate Britain in the heart of London, Jowita Przystal is seen taking in the sights as she danced with Vito Coppla, before Graziano Di Prima and Katya Jones joined them.

Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Lauren Oakley, Giovanni Pernice, Johannes Radebe, Michelle Tsiakkas, Kai Widdrington and Nacy Xu were also seen performing.

One dancer who surprised viewers in the trailer was Amy Dowden, despite the fact that she can’t compete in the group numbers while she continues to undergo chemotherapy to treat her breast cancer.
