Fans of ITV’s Deal or No Deal were sent into a meltdown during the latest episode after an 81-year-old contestant made a rather rude request to the banker.
During Friday’s instalment (November 24), it was Sylivia’s turn to step into the hot seat and hopefully win a huge wad of cash. Before the game kicked off, presenter Stephen Mulhern asked Sylvia about her life and the energetic player couldn’t wait to provide Stephen and viewers details about her dating history as well as talking about her teeth.
But during the game, Sylvia knew no bounds when talking to the infamous banker, which left host Stephen redfaced. While Stephen was on the phone to the banker trying to secure her a good deal, Syliva quipped: “I can’t bite you, but I can suck you to death!”

Hearing Sylvia’s frank expression, viewers at home headed straight to X formerly known as Twitter to share their thoughts. One fan penned: “I’ve just wet myself!”
Another said: “‘I can’t bite you, but I can suck you to death’. Steady on Sylvia, you haven’t met him yet.”
A third said: “‘I can’t bite you but I can suck you to death’. Things I never thought I’d hear an 81-year-old granny say on #dealornodeal.” While a fourth shocked fan added: “Deal or no deal has definitely changed!!”
Although Sylvia was a barrel of laughs she had a rather turbulent game. Sylvia had plans to fly to Australia but wasn’t sure she was able to do so when a number of red boxes disappeared from the game.
Near the end of the show, Sylvia took a risk and decided to go for the banker’s offer of £5,300. But although it felt like a hasty choice in the end it worked out in her favour.
Heading over to X, encouraged fans were glad she made the right choice. One viewer said: “Well done Sylvia on winning £5,300 it’s a very nice amount of money and Australia would be lovely if you would have dealt on £11,000 but you have been such a great player and I wish you all the best for the future :).”
While another said: “So had Sylvia played, she would have been left with those 2 very very puny blue amounts. Talk about dodging a bullet.”
