Extreme Weight Loss star’s mysterious death in car park after dropping 10 stone on show

An Extreme Weight Loss star was said to have been full of life before she passed away in bizarre circumstances aged 40.

Brandi Mallory was described as being a ‘positive force in all of her loved ones’ lives before her death earlier this month. A friend of the reality TV star, who became famous for shedding 150 pounds (around 10 stone) during season 4 of ABC’s Extreme Weight Loss, expressed their admiration for her as an individual.

Eva Jane, a close friend and fellow makeup artist, shared with People magazine how the star of Extreme Weight Loss was always brimming with life and had an unwavering positive outlook on everything. Mallory was found dead in the Chipotle car park after picking up dinner in Stone Mountain, Georgia, US, on November 9.

He knew something was off when he spotted the car again later that day.

Police reports indicate that there were no indications of foul play, and they are currently investigating the cause of death. Jane shared her thoughts on Mallory’s funeral, after her loved ones gathered to celebrate her life.

She said her late friend was an ‘eternal optimist’ who was ‘so positive’. Jane added that Mallory had an ‘electric’ and ‘very big personality’ which she will miss.

“I don’t want to speak in clichés, like she lit up the room — but she did,” she said.

“She didn’t complain or find fault in anyone or anything. She was full of life, always looking for a way to make the atmosphere and environment around her so much better, and to encourage everybody around her.”

Jane also described Mallory as someone who was authentic in nature and always being herself without pretence.

“She truly was, ‘What you see is what you get.’ She was pure,” Jane said.

Jane said that while some individuals focus on PR and marketing tactics to present themselves in the best possible way, Mallory was authentic and true to herself.

“When someone like Brandi passes, it really does make it harder to grasp and understand,” she continued.

“You think, ‘Why would someone so amazing be called to go home?'”
