‘Ant and Dec should be worried, their time is up on I’m A Celeb and they need to be replaced’

Love Island hunk Casey O’Gorman has warned I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! stars Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly that they’ve “had their time” presenting the ITV show as he eyes up their hosting gig.

The Geordie double act first rose to fame when they starred on the BBC children’s drama Byker Grove in 1989. Since then, their friendship has blossomed on screen and the pair have gone from strength to strength.

After their surprising pop career in 1994 and various hosting gigs throughout the 1990s, the pair landed their first regular hosting gig on the festive reality show when it launched back in 2002. The pair have gone on to present on Britain’s Got Talent and Saturday Night Takeaway amongst other ITV shows.

“I’d love to be the new Ant and Dec with Tom. I’d love to do presenting and do stuff with Tom, in fact the more TV the better.

“Ant and Dec should be worried, their time’s up. They’ve won best presenters for the last 20 years. We need some new fresh meat, it’s our turn now!”

The ladies’ man reassured fans that he is still going from strength to strength away from the villa, even though he didn’t find love on the show. He continued: “I didn’t find love, but I did find Tom.”

He went on to share some of the best and worst qualities in his new roommate after they moved in together. Casey said: “We’re both very clean, we both motivate each other, we’re always at the gym.

“Even if one of us doesn’t want to go the other one will push them to go. We proper drive each other, it’s nice.” When asked what one of Tom’s flaws are as a housemate, Casey admitted that the stunner is terrible in the kitchen.
