Strictly Come Danicng fans have called for bosses to sign up Danny Cipriani for the 2024 series.
The rugby hunk, 36, scored an impressive 37 out of 40 as he took to the famous dancefloor with professional partner Jowita Przystał for the Christmas Special on Monday (December 25) wearing a glitzy red waistcoat without a top underneath to show off his famous physique.
As the judges swooned over his performance, and his appearance, with Anton Du Beke scoring them 10 and Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas giving nines, fans took to social media to demand that Danny returns for the main series when it returns next year.

Taking to X, formerly know as Twitter, one fan penned: “Can we have Danny Cipriani on the main Strictly show please in 2024? And can we have him partner with Jowita? They know how to raise the Christmas temperature.” Another added: “They need to get Danny on the main show next year, he’d get the ratings up.” Someone else agreed: “Can we get Danny Cipriani for the main show?”
Danny and Jowita, Dan Snow and Nadiya Bychkova, Sally Nugent and Graziano Di Prima, Jamie Borthwick and Nancy Xu, Tillie Amartey and Neil Jones and and Keisha Buchanan and Gorka Marquez all took the dancefloor on Christmas Day in a bid to lift the iconic Glitterball Trophy. However, some fans moaned they didn’t know many of the famous faces on the line-up.
One social media user moaned: “Have they ran out of celebrity’s for Strictly? Who are these people?” Another added: “Keeping up my usual standard of only knowing who half the celebrities are.” A third person wrote: “I might be showing my age but apart from Keisha from the Sugababes and Jay from Eastenders I don’t have a Scooby doo who any of the contestants are.” Someone else said: “I’ve no idea who half of them are! Jeez I’m getting old.”
Each of the six couples performed a festive fuelled routine with the hope of impressing the judges, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, Head Judge Shirley Ballas, and the voting studio audience. The winner of the pre-recorded special was leaked online weeks ago. The infamous Strictly mole published the winner online after the show was filmed at the beginning of the month.

It has been reported that show bosses are determined to uncover the person’s identity after the results of each show of the 2023 series were also spoiled. A source told the Daily Mail: “Enough is enough, it isn’t fair on the fans, they look forward to tuning in to see who will be dancing together.” The TV insider continued: “Now procedures are being put in place to see if the mole can be caught though it’s tricky because there are so many people involved with Strictly but the bosses are determined to nail he or she.”
The audience at Strictly Come Dancing are supposed to have their phones removed during filming, with the crowd made up of family and friends of those taking part and members of the public. Daily Star has decided to keep the winner a surprise for fans.
