It’s official! Dolly Parton has admitted: “My boobs are too big.”
The country music icon has been famous for her figure boasting a 40-inch chest. But she confessed: “I have certain things I like to play up and others I like to play down. “I’m little, and my boobs are too big.
“I like to play up my waistline and the best part of my legs.” Dolly, 77, became a star on the big screen as well as stage after her hit movie 9 to 5.

But in her new book Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones she revealed she was warned to cover-up her cleavage. She said: “When I started wearing that big hair and my flamboyant clothes and my boobs sticking up, a lot of people said, ‘Dolly, you need to dress down.
“Nobody’s ever going to take you serious as a songwriter or a singer if you look like that, because you look more like a hooker than you do a singer.’ I said, ‘Well, tough. This is who I am. They’ll get used to it!’
“I had no idea how movies worked until I did 9 to 5. They choose your clothes, your hair, and your make-up.
“That was a bit scary for me, and something I really had to get used to. I don’t like to be surprised when it comes to what I wear and how I look.”
Dolly also told how she’s had to get used to people talking to her breasts rather than look at her face. She joked that she tells them: “That’s okay, you can look down — everybody looks at my boobs when they talk to me!”
Dolly is set to open up about the hardships of her “dirt poor” childhood in Tennessee in a new documentary called Dolly Parton: In Her Own Words. She said her family didn’t have money but that her parents were “hard-working”.
