Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice has gone Instagram official with his new girlfriend Molly Brown.
In an adorable Instagram post originally shared by the stunning 24-year old model, Giovanni, 33, confirmed their romance by responding “amore mio” [my love] to the attention of her 5,000 followers.
Molly’s snap showed the loved-up pair enjoying a romantic restaurant date, both sporting black jackets. The couple cuddled up for the sweet photo, with fellow diners seen in the background of the bustling eatery.

It’s been almost a year since Giovanni became single after breaking up with the Strictly’s Jowita Przystal, who teamed up with Countryfile’s Hamza Yassin to lift the Glitterball Trophy in 2022 – a year after Giovanni had emerged victorious with Rose Ayling-Ellis.
A source told the Mirror recently of Giovanni and Molly’s relationship: “Giovanni and Molly met a few weeks ago, and though it is very early days, things seem to be going well between them. He has been keeping things quiet because he didn’t want too much pressure on them as they’re getting to know each other.”
They added: “But the signs so far seem to be positive and he has let a few of his friends in on the secret. It’s very much a case of watch this space.”
Responding to the snap, meanwhile, one of Molly’s followers gushed: “Giovanni is as handsome as you’re beautiful Molly. Wishing you much happiness and laughter.” Another added: “Lovely couple hope it works out for you both.”
A third wrote: “You look so good together! Be happy and enjoy each other.” And a fourth said: “Good for you !!! Hope you will be very happy together.”
The romance will come as welcome to relief to Gio, who endured a stressful last three months of 2023. His five-week stint with Amanda Abbington on Strictly was dogged by rumours of unrest, which led to the actress walking of the competition citing “medical reasons”.
She later demanded backstage footage of their rehearsals from the BBC after reportedly seeking legal advice, however, hitting out at Giovanni’s “military” training regime, which she alleges led to her diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
