Celebrity Big Brother fans ‘work out’ Gary’s game plan as he falls off bed and exposes tattoo

Celebrity Big Brother viewers slammed Gary Goldsmith’s “fake” move after he was put up for eviction.

The 58-year-old, who is the uncle of Kate Middleton, learned he was the first celebrity facing the public vote after being chosen by Sharon Osbourne. Later that evening, the businessman headed to bed, bunking next to Corrie’s Colson Smith.

Somehow Gary fell out of the bed as he hit the floor with a huge thump, leaving Colson in hysterics. In the process, the podcast host revealed the huge inking on his lower back.

But fans were less amused by the scenes, with several claiming Gary did it on purpose because he is facing the boot. Sharing their thoughts online, one wrote: “Did Gary just fall out of bed… on purpose?? Because that looked kind of fake.”

“Nah Gary for sure fell out of bed on purpose,” added another viewer. A third agreed: “Gary absolutely fell out the bed on purpose. Trying to make himself seem funny to not get voted out on Friday. Also whys he got a tramp stamp.”

Echoing this, a fourth penned: “Just finished #CBBUK sorry Gary…..I think that was abit fake you falling out of bed!……just as you were nominated.” Someone else weighed in: “Anyone else thinking Gary definitely faked falling out of bed?! Is he REALLY that desperate to become the conversation?!”

Claiming to know the star’s game plan, a sixth said: “Gary ‘falling’ out of bed is definitely a ploy for more votes to stay in. Not buying that at all.” Earlier in the day, Gary learned that former X Factor judge Sharon had given him her killer nomination.

The 71-year-old revealed her final decision in the diary room, unaware her fellow housemates were watching. She chose Gary because she felt he was “out of his depth” in the house.

Before coming to a decision, Sharon questioned Gary’s true intentions when she grilled him about why he was on the show. The millionaire claimed he wants the chance to change the public’s perception of him, branding himself the “black sheep” of the family.

“It does bother me what the public perception of me is. The black sheep of the family,” Gary said. “I’m a normal bloke. It just so happens that my niece married Will.”

After insisting he has no interest in being a celebrity, Gary added: “If I could show people that I’m not that person, and I’ve really put myself out there because this is not my world. Ultimately, I’m not a celebrity.

“I don’t want to be, you know, a celebrity. I don’t want to go down that path.” The reality star was instantly sceptical of Gary’s claims as she responded: “Why don’t I believe you when you say that?”
