Michael Sheen has opened up on the biggest concern he has over dating his 30-year-old girlfriend.
At the age of 55, the actor renowned for his starring roles in The Deal, The Queen and The Special Relationship, has confessed that he does have a significant qualm over being in a relationship with Anna Lundberg, who is just five years older than his daughter.
During an appearance on the BBC’s The Assembly, the Welshman sat down with a group of autistic, neurodivergent and learning-disabled people, who had free reign to ask him anything their heart desired.

The father-of-three appeared in front of an audience of 35 people to celebrate Autism Awareness Week, and the guests didn’t hold back with their line of questioning.
One woman asked about Sheen’s relationship with his Swedish partner, saying: “How does it feel to be dating someone who is only five years older than your daughter?”
Sheen, who has fathered two children with the actress, as well as a 25-year-old daughter with ex Kate Beckinsale, confessed that it is ‘not the easiest thing to do’.
He elaborated: “Because of the age difference, I think both of us were quite surprised when we got together.”
He continued: “I don’t think either of us were looking for that. It’s not like I’ve dated lots of people who are much younger than me, but you meet who you meet. We were very aware of what differences that would make and also how people might respond to that.
“It’s not like it was the easiest thing to do. We were both aware it would be difficult and challenging. Ultimately, we felt it was worth it because of how we felt about each other.”
The actor then confessed to the major issue that has caused him a great deal of distress.
In a testament to his honesty, Michael explained: “Because of the age difference, I’m aware that I’m a much older father. It does worry me. It makes me concerned.
“It makes me sad thinking about the time I won’t have with them.
“But ultimately, I think if you find someone who brings you happiness and you make them happy, you’ve got to go for that. So that’s what we decided to do, and I’m so happy we did, as we have this wonderful family now.”
