Fred Sirieix swipes at Gino D’Acampo as he brands their new travel series a ‘nightmare’

Fred Sirieix took a swipe at Gino D’Acampo ahead of their new travel series.

The First Dates star has bagged himself a brand new travel series called Emission Impossible with This Morning chef Gino D’Acampo. However, it seems he’s not looking forward to putting up with all of Gino’s moaning during the trip.

Fred told Daily Star and other press about his new show at the BAFTA TV Awards in London on Sunday (May 12). He told Hello! magazine and Daily Star: “This year I’m going by myself with Gino. We’re going to do a show called Emisiion Impossible.

“What we’re going to do is travel to European destinations and try to be as green as we can along the way, which is going to be a nightmare. Gino is going to moan and he’s going to be very upset, but okay, I can take it.”

Sadly, their famous pal Gordon Ramsay won’t be joining them on this journey. Fred hinted the Kitchen Nightmares star was too busy “opening restaurants”.

Fans are used to seeing Gordon, Gino and Fred hunt for great food on their ITV travel shows like Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip and Gordon, Gino and Fred Go Greek. The bickering food buffs have been to the likes of America, Spain, Italy, and Morocco.

Fred and Gino will visit Austria, previously voted the greenest city in the world, to tack down sustainable produce and be as environmentally friendly as possible.

The pair said: “We’re thrilled to be upcycled by ITV for another action-packed adventure and can’t wait to cook up some fantastic sustainable dishes whilst hopefully stirring up debate around these important issues.

“We might not come up with the recipe to save the planet but we hope to entertain, inform and inspire the audience to think about making changes in their own lives.”
