Kerry Katona has slammed an Emmerdale star after “disowning” her daughter for selling adult pics online.
The former singer, 43, waded into the debacle raging online after ex-Emmerdale actress Sammy Winward has cut her daughter off for joining an adult subscription site. Kerry blasted Sammy’s decision saying that she would “never leave” her children for joining the racy platform.
Kerryis no stranger to the same website, having an account herself and claiming to be a “millionaire” from selling naughty snaps of herself. Now, she has given her backing to Sammy’s 19-year-old daughter Mia for going down that path, saying there is “no shame” in joining the site.

As well as this, Kerry also said that should would “never reject” her girls if they opted to follow in their mother’s footsteps and joined the site. However, she did admit she would not necessarily be the happiest mother if they chose to go on the site.
Writing in her column for OK!, Kerry penned: “I’ve been reading that Emmerdale star Sammy Winward is reported to have cut off her 19-year-old daughter Mia for doing OnlyFans. I think that’s so sad.
“Losing a relationship with your daughter isn’t worth it – and as an actress you’d think she’d be more understanding of the industry,” she added. “There’s no shame in doing OnlyFans.”
She finished: “Don’t get me wrong, I’d have a meltdown if any of my kids started doing it. I’d be livid – but at the end of the day, they’re my babies and I could never stop contact. It’s not worth it.”
It emerged last week that Sammy, 38, was no longer speaking to her 19-year-old daughter Mia Winward-Dunn after she became an adult star. Sammy, who shot to fame playing Katie Sugden on the ITV soap, said that the pair went their separate ways after a fiery argument.
Mia broke her silence in an interview with The Sun last week, saying that Sammy had gone on the warpath to try and rein her daughter in. “She said some pretty mean things when we did last speak, it was awful,” Mia admitted.
This has not quelled Mia’s adoration for her mother, but she admitted her career choice has put distance between her and her loved ones. “I absolutely love my mum, I love all of my family, but none of them speak to me now.”
Mia is the daughter of Emmerdale actress Sammy and professional footballer Daniel Dunn, whom Sammy was dating until they split in 2005. Since then, Sammy has carried on with her acting career.
Her most recent credit came in 2023 when she took on the role of Sonia Sutcliffe – wife of Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe. Starring in the ITV drama The Long Shadow, this marked Sammy’s first TV gig in six years, and eight after she left Emmerdale in 2015.
