Loose Women star ‘quits’ ITV show sharing new ‘tiny, teeny shorts’ career path abroad

One Loose Women star joked that she is “quitting” the ITV show after discovering a “new career path.”

Frankie Bridge has been delighting viewers on the daytime programme since 2010, and regularly shares her thoughts on the biggest stories hitting the headlines alongside her panellists. But after 14 years on the show, the former Saturdays star appears to be ready to move on.

On Wednesday (August 14), the mum-of-two took to her Instagram Story to share the news with her loyal legion of fans online. She could be seen backstage on the famous set ahead of her appearance on the afternoon show.

As the TV favourite curled her hair in the mirror, she shared her revelation with her 1.5million followers. The brunette beauty joked to her fans: “Good morning! I am at Loose Women today but it might be my last show guys because I think I need to take a new career path.

“I’ve found my calling and I’ve decided I need to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.” The singer went on to share the preparation she has already put into her decision with the help of her husband.

Frankie went on: “I know I’m late to the party but I’ve chatted it out with Wayne. He is more than happy for me to move to Dallas Texas.

“He even sent me some house options yesterday. You know I’m going to give it a year, I’m going to move over there, do all the classes I need to do and then do the tryouts at the end of the year.”

Although the All Fired Up hitmaker believes she will struggle to keep up with the rest of the contestants, she joked that she is fully committed to the craft. The doting mum added: “I think I’ll be a bit short.

“I don’t think I’ll look great in those tiny, teeny shorts. I don’t think I can get my legs up by my nose, but I’ve got a year to try and I reckon I can do it.

“I reckon I’ve got it in me. Go Dallas.” It comes after the musician started a surprising “feud” with her co-star last week.

During last Thursday’s show (August 8), anchors Kaye Adams, Denise Welch and Frankie returned to the stage alongside celebrity guest and TikTok star GK Barry. Minutes into the show, the Strictly Come Dancing star pointed out that Frankie is no longer the youngest panellist on the show.

Introducing the 24-year-old internet sensation, Kaye gushed: “She is making Loose Women history as our first ever panellist born in the same year when Loose Women started in 1999. Frankie, you are no longer the youngest. You’re not the baby anymore.” And it’s fair to say the mum-of-two, 35, was not impressed, replying: “I’m fuming.”

Turning to the starlet – whose real name is Grace Keeling – Kaye chuckled: “Well we are delighted to have you here, well me and Denise” as Frankie pulled an uncomfortable face to the camera. Grace admitted: “I know there is a feud now and I was so excited to meet Frankie but now there is a feud.”

Fans will have to stay tuned to see if the star will return to the show

The studio erupted into laughter as Frankie said: “It’s alright, I don’t like you yet, go away.” Want all the biggest Showbiz and TV news straight to your inbox? Sign up for our free Daily Star Showbiz newsletter.
