Huge reason Noel Gallagher could profit way more than Liam from Oasis reunion

Noel Gallagher could earn a lot more than his brother from Oasis’ reunion.

In an exclusive chat with Daily Star, celebrity PR specialist Kayley Cornelius discussed the reasons why Noel Gallagher, the main songwriter for Oasis, may end up pocketing more dosh than his sibling thanks to the band’s highly anticipated reunion tour next year.

Speaking on behalf of Betfred, Kayley said: “Noel’s songs are set to become more valuable than ever before. His music has not only stood the test of time, but the announcement of the Oasis reunion highlights the enduring admiration and relevance of his work.”

“With many brands viewing the reunion as a prime marketing opportunity for their upcoming product launches, any company looking to feature Noel’s music in advertisements or products will need to pay a premium – a price that has undoubtedly surged due to the reunion’s excitement.”

Noel is the songwriter for Oasis

Cornelius explained that the costs for the rights to one of Noel’s ballads could vary between some eye-watering prices: “From several thousand to several million pounds, with each usage of a song from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds potentially fetching a six-figure sum.”

The usage of an Oasis smash hits could also fetch the Gallagher brother a pretty penny: “Meanwhile, the rights to one of Oasis’s top tracks could easily command several million per usage. Since ticket sales are notoriously not the biggest cash generators for artists in the music industry, Noel is likely to profit most from this reunion through song rights and licensing deals.”

Noel and Liam recently announced Oasis will be touring the UK next year

Although Noel may earn more thanks to his songwriting skills, Liam has his own business venture that he could still earn a whopping profit from. Cornelius speculated: “Liam’s clothing brand Pretty Green could see record profits following the reunion announcement as fans search for the perfect outfits to wear to their gigs.”

The brothers will also both see an income from “settlement fees, merchandising and marketing, special album releases, limited edition merchandise and brand collaborations,” meaning: “Liam and Noel are likely looking at taking home hundreds of millions each from this highly anticipated reunion.”
