Horror fans beg for disturbing film’s scenes to be ‘erased from their memory’

Horror fans can’t stop talking about “the creepiest film they’ve ever seen”.

Over on Reddit, horror fans flocked to answer one user’s question: “If you were given the power to erase a horror movie from your memory so you could relive it again for the first time, what movie are you choosing to relive?”

Many gathered to suggest Hell House LLC as their answer, with one person writing: “Yesss, one of the best horrors I’ve watched,” as another chimed in: “Yup. One of the best horror movies out there.”

Someone else called the flick a “phenomenal movie,” while another horror fanatic explained: “It was my first found footage horror movie and one of the few times I watched a movie alone out of boredom. I could feel my heart thudding in my f***ing chest. I had to look up the timings for the jumpscares eventually because the tension was so exhausting.”

Horror fans wish they could watch Hell House LLC all over again

Elsewhere online, people have been discussing Hell House LLC with X/Twitter users branding it “one of the creepiest films I’ve ever seen”. One person admitted the behind-the-scenes techniques and wrote: “The scares are so effective! How quiet they are really makes everything so much creepier.”

The found footage film was released in 2015

Hell House LLC is a horror mystery film in a found footage style, similar to that of Blair Witch. It is the first instalment of the franchise and follows a group of Halloween haunted house creators as they prepare for the upcoming festivities.

Their attraction, named the Hell House, opens and welcomes in punters but on opening night there is a malfunction, which leads to the death of 15 people including staff and eager thrill seekers who came to tour the attraction.

The movie also spurred a number of sequels

Details of that fateful night are eventually revealed and the creepy goings-on have clearly left an impression on the film’s viewers. A sequel was eventually made titled Hell House LLC: The Abbadon Hotel, followed by Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor.

A fifth movie titled Hell House LLC: Lineage is reportedly set to be released in October 2025.
