Jennifer Aniston exposes reason she refuses TV roles after iconic Friends fame

Jennifer Aniston has come clean about her career’s future.

The actress said that it was a “no brainer” that the iconic sitcom was her favourite project to work on, stating on the SmartLess podcast: “I would have to say that is number one. Every single day I miss the schedule of filming..it’s the best schedule ever, on the planet.”

Jennifer admitted that she would be reluctant to star in another, just because of her experience on the Friends set. She said: “If I knew it would be the same experience as I had with those guys, yes, but I doubt that will ever happen.”

The Friends cast clearly still treasure the time they spent filming together as many of the six lead stars have previously gushed over their time in the studio. Aniston previously spoke to Variety about life on set and the friendships they made with each other.

“It’s so strange to even think that it’s 30-years-old because I remember the day that it was going to premiere on NBC. Me and Matthew Perry were having lunch somewhere and we knew Lisa [Kudrow] was getting her hair coloured, so we ran into the hair salon and I snuck up and she was in the sink, the hair bowl.”

“I took the nozzle and started washing her hair from the guy that was supposed to be doing it and it definitely flew out of control and that was unfortunate, but the excitement we had, it feels like yesterday.

The Rachel Green reflected on the show’s impact, stating that Friends “had this long, wonderful life” and that it “still means a lot to people”. Aniston said that Friends was “one of the greatest gifts all six of them ever could have imagined”.
