Fans of the show were still reeling from week two, where Olympic swimmer Tom Dean was eliminated with his partner Nadiya. The pair were put against Toyah Willcox and Neil Jones.
Several watchers claimed the judges ruling was unfair, after head judge Shirley Ballas sent them home due to Toyah’s improved routine.
Now with the new result, fans are calling for Tom to come back from the unfair verdict.
“After this spoiler I’m even more mad that they’ve sent tom home last week,” expressed one furious fan. “Still fuming about Tom last week, he had potential,” wrote another.
A third asked: “Can we have Tom back now?”
On Saturday’s show, 13 celebs battled it out in a Hollywood version of the ballroom battle. It was supposed to be 14, but Nick Knowles pulled out due to an injury he sustained in training.
Love Island star Tasha Ghouri soared to the top of the leaderboard with Aljaz Skorjanec after an impressive Barbie-themed Rumba to Billie Eilish’s What Was I Made For. Shirley Ballas was blown away, admitting that she was better than some people she judged at the recent world championships.
The pair scored an incredible 34 out of 40 after scoring two nines from Shirley and Anton Du Beke. They were closely followed by three couples in joint second, all scoring 33 – Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola, Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu and Dr Punam Kirshnan and Gorka Marquez.
At the other end of the table were Toyah Willcox and Neil Jones. Craig in particular said the she was “stuck in the mud” and was “flat-footed”, Robert leapt out of his seat to boo the judge.
