Miranda Hart has revealed she had a Hawaiian-themed wedding.
The comic got hitched to a building surveyor in the summer and they came up with the bonkers idea to make their big day a big laugh too.
They splashed the cash so guests could get that holiday feeling. Miranda, 51, said: “It was a very small gathering and for no reason at all it was Hawaiian themed with inflatable flamingos, coconut bowling and a steel band.”

Miranda’s wedding joy has given her a boost after a tough few years. The star was diagnosed with Lyme disease that was so debilitating it left her at “rock bottom”.

Speaking on The Graham Norton Show, she said: “I had my diagnosis during the pandemic, and it was a very lonely time, so I decided I didn’t want to be alone anymore.
“I put out this little prayer with about 1% of hope, but I met someone and got married in July.”
Miranda has opened up about her highs and lows in her new book I Haven’t Been Entirely Honest With You.
She added: “The book is not just about illness. It is about how I learnt to live well and free with joy and meaning despite my circumstances. I now feel I can be in the world as me. I feel fully free, if not fully recovered.”
