EastEnders top three spoilers for next week – including two families at war

Walford is set to be anything but boring next week as new residents stir up trouble with their neighbours.

In upcoming EastEnders episodes, Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) and his son Harry (Elijah Holloway) will find themselves in a heated dispute with multiple families when youngest son Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) catches the eye of Ravi Gulati.

The drama kicks off when Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) is busted texting an unknown boy by Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury), and she pleads with her brother to keep it a secret.

However, their father, Ravi (Aaron Thiara), quickly seizes Avani’s phone and attempts to unlock her messages with the assistance of her mother, Priya (Sophie Khan Levy).

But Priya soon reassures Ravi that there’s no cause for concern as their daughter has already admitted to dating schoolmate Barney.

Ravi chooses to respect Avani’s privacy and returns her phone before she hurries off to meet her actual love interest, Mason, reports the Manchester Evening News.

But Avani’s romantic meeting with older boy Mason is cut short when she asserts she isn’t going to sleep with him, and he forces her to leave with a split lip.

While Ravi and Priya are enjoying a moment at Walford East, they are suddenly interrupted by a distressed Avani. She tries to hide, but Ravi is convinced Barney is responsible and takes action.

Ravi’s attempt to humiliate Barney leads to a heated confrontation with Teddy, as Avani rushes in to calm her father.

The tension escalates outside the café, with Teddy and Ravi squaring off just as the police arrive.

Later, at No. 1, Teddy hatches a plan to retaliate against Ravi, leaving the Panesars shocked. But what have the new Mitchells done? And will they regret their actions?

Harry also finds himself on Jack Branning’s (Scott Maslen) bad side due to Teddy’s threat to the detective. Will they manage to evade the consequences of their recent actions?

Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) and Harry attempt to blackmail Jack, but he reveals a shocking secret about Penny’s love interest.

At The Arches, Jack reluctantly agrees to overlook Harry’s shady activities. But is there more that Harry is hiding? Is Penny in danger?

Meanwhile, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) returns to the Square after training for his new job at the Minute Mart, oblivious to the fact that his son Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) has once again hurt his mother Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace).

Alfie quickly senses something amiss between mother and son and demands answers.

Kat finally confesses that Tommy injured her. How will Alfie react, given his previous warning?

Later, at No. 5D, the Moons and Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) sit down for a meal, but it isn’t long before chaos descends after an altercation between Tommy and Freddie escalates.

Kat continues to make excuses for Tommy’s bad behaviour, but at No. 31, Freddie finds himself under the spotlight as Jean (Gillian Wright) begins to suspect that he’s keeping a secret for Kat.

Will Tommy be punished for his abusive behaviour?

EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
