P Diddy’s son Christian has been branded “tone deaf” after he recently announced he will be running his father’s Instagram and posting throwback videos to “spread good energy”
P Diddy’s son has taken over the rapper’s Instagram page.
Diddy, real name Sean Combs, was arrested on 16 October and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, all of which he “categorically denies”. He is currently being held in the Metropolitan Detention Centre and is awaiting trial.
Despite being in jail, Diddy’s Instagram is active thanks to his son Christian. His seven children have continued to stand by him throughout the ordeal, even wishing him a happy birthday on 4 November.

Christian took to Diddy’s Instagram profile on 6 November to issue a video statement to his father’s social media followers. He said: “What’s up y’all, I’m King Combs and right now I’m taking over my pop’s Instagram.”

“We’re going to be posting videos, spreading good energy and taking y’all down memory lane. All the positive things he did. So stay tuned and watch this, let’s go. We love you pops, happy birthday.”
In the caption, Christian wrote “tune in” but down in the comment section, fans were gobsmacked to see the video uploaded to their timelines. One person said: “Nu uh Lil Diddy,” while someone else wrote that his father could be “going down for a long time”.
Someone else wrote “no” and pointed out that a video of him assaulting ex-girlfriend Cassie was released to the public as one commenter added: “Kamala just lost, not right now.”
“This is so tone deaf, just go and prepare for the holidays in silence,” quipped one disappointed critic. Another typed: “Bro what,” and signed off with a laughing emoji, a second person said: “Hell nah,” a third wrote: “Aw hell naw, we don’t want memory lane,” and a fourth scathed: “Naaah I don’t wanna go down memory lane with ya pops [crying emoji].”
After Christian’s announcement video, three more videos of P Diddy’s past projects were uploaded including a music video and clips with Biggie Smalls in the recording studio. Christian captioned one: “My Pops motivation to making music is always to make us dance and feel good HAPPY BIRTHDAY POPS!!! [dancing emojis].”
