EastEnders viewers are already confessing their love for newbie Nicola Mitchell (played by Laura Doddington) following her arrival in Walford on Monday.
However, during Tuesday’s trip to Albert Square (November 12), which is available to watch on iPlayer, the blonde bombshell was back stirring up trouble for estranged husband Teddy (Roland Manookian) and also revealed a huge secret.
Following the arrest of her eldest son Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway), Nicola wasted no time in inviting his love interest Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) for a tense conversation.
Nicola shared her theory that Penny and her copper dad Jack (Scott Maslen) are behind Harry’s arrest for the murder of his ex-girlfriend Shireen.

She also dropped an offensive comment about Teddy’s fashion sense before giving Harry a false alibi for the night in question.
Despite the detective not buying Nicola’s story, the police were forced to let Harry go home. It later surfaced that Nicola and Harry had an agreed alibi should he ever be arrested.
The Mitchells soon come to blows as Nicola’s lies about being in Bali and ‘finding herself’ were unveiled as youngest son Barney (Lewis Bridgeman) looked on uncomfortable.

Beautician Nicola has actually been in prison for ABH after injecting a girl with unlicensed lip filler. Teddy confirmed the victim had been on a drip for three days and Nicola even refused a refund.
Harry also revealed to Barney that Nicola stole from Teddy, so he kicked her out of their old home.
Taking to X, one fan wrote: “Nicola Mitchell – chaotic diva #eastenders”, while a second echoed: “Nicola Mitchell – Queen of Albert Square #eastenders.”
