Chilling Netflix child murder documentary leaves appalled viewers lost for words

Netflix’s newest documentary has left streamers stunned.

In the description for the trailer for Cold Case: Who Killed JonBenét Ramsey, the official Netflix YouTube account wrote: “On December 26, 1996, John and Patsy Ramsey wake up the morning after a loving family Christmas to discover their youngest child, six-year-old JonBenét, is missing, a chilling ransom note left downstairs.”

“Later that day, John Ramsey discovers his daughter’s body in the basement, revealing the shocking truth that JonBenét had not been kidnapped, but was instead sexually assaulted and brutally murdered in their own home.”

The horrifying case is yet to be solved

Police were quick to cast suspicion on the little girl’s family which launched scrutiny from the media which made the case extremely high profile across the US.

“Twenty-eight years later, that obsession — and finger-pointing — hasn’t gone away, and the murder of JonBenét Ramsey remains unsolved. From Academy Award nominated director Joe Berlinger, this three-part docuseries investigates the mishandling of the case by law enforcement and the media,” they wrote.

Viewers were horrified what they saw

Down in the comment section, distraught viewers gathered to share their thoughts on the chilling case. One tearful Netflix fan wrote: “This poor girl died horribly and no one paid for it [crying emoji].”

“[Not going to lie], I’ve been wondering about this case since I was in elementary [school]. Hopefully this documentary will give people clarity instead of just stating what people already know,” another added.

Netflix streamers sent their respects to the little girl

Someone else chillingly noted: “It’s creepy how someone or some people knows exactly who did it yet they plan on taking that secret to their graves.” Another person paid their respects: “It’s crazy we still don’t know [crying emoji] RIP baby girl.”
