Peppa Pig’s family recently welcomed a new piglet into the world, but fans of the show may not realise that the beloved cartoon characters are actually jaw-droppingly tall
Peppa Pig’s family are unbelievably tall.
According to the Peppa Pig World website, Mummy Pig is a whopping 5 feet and 9 inches tall. They also ominously mention: “If you visit Mummy Pig here at Peppa Pig World, she definitely seems a lot taller than that!”
She is dwarfed by the gargantuan Daddy Pig, who apparently stands at a threateningly tall 6 feet 6 inches.
However, the website adds: “Some sources on Google suggest that Daddy Pig’s heigh is a mind-boggling 14 feet 2 inches. That would make him a giant,” which is enough to keep you up at night.
Grandpa Pig is “a little bit taller than Granny Pig and a little bit shorter than Daddy Pig,” while absolutely no information whatsoever is given regarding Granny Pig’s height. Unsure if this is a good or a bad thing.
Their granddaughter Peppa, the star of the show, has been measured at 3 feet 9 inches, although Google rumours strike once again with some sources claiming she is 7 feet 1 inch.
Her brother George is 2 feet and 5 inches tall at just 2-years-old, making both the siblings average heights for their age. Their newborn sister Evie, who was welcomed on 20 May at 5:45am, has not yet had her height confirmed.
Mummy Pig appeared on Good Morning Britain to share the happy news with the world. She spoke to Richard Arnold and revealed Evie’s gender and name to excited viewers.
Representatives for the Pig family have also released a statement following Evie’s birth. They said: “Pig news in the world of Peppa Pig! The moment fans have been waiting for is finally here, Mummy Pig has given birth to a beautiful baby girl!”
“Baby Evie was safely welcomed into the world today at 5:34AM and both Mummy Pig and baby are doing well.”
“Big siblings Peppa and George are said to be over the moon and excited to meet their new baby sister, while Mummy and Daddy Pig are ‘looking forward to lots of happy snorts and sleepless nights’.”
