EastEnders has appeared to confirm how Bex Fowler (Jasmine Armfield) will leave Albert Square.
Actress Jasmine Armfield, 21, announced back in January that she was leaving the BBC One soap after playing the troubled teen for six years.
After a difficult few months in Walford, Bex will begin to reevaluate her future in the light of the boat tragedy and decides to go travelling.
Bex almost died last week after taking contaminated pills at the boat party.
She suffered an overdose and collapsed on the boat, with Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) and Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) battling to save her life.
Bex did survive amid fears that she would be the character killed off during the dramatic week of episodes to mark the soap’s 35th anniversary.

Realising what has happened, Bex quickly confronts her mother about hiding her passport, but Sonia is adamant her daughter is making the wrong decision.
Unfortunately, Martin also fails to make Sonia see sense over Bex’s future plans, while her uncles Max (Jake Wood) and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) also confront her for her stubbornness when it comes to her daughter.
With Sonia refusing to listen to her family, Bex goes to extreme lengths and writes her mum a letter.
Will the nurse finally listen to her daughter?
