Mel B accuses her nanny of being ex-husband Stephen Belafonte's 'mistress'

Mel B has filed explosive court documents in Los Angles in which she accuses her former nanny Lorraine Gilles of being a ‘mistress’ to her ex husband Stephen Belafonte.

In the papers, Spice Girls star Mel claims that Stephen asked their eight-year-old daughter Madison to lie about his close bond with the nanny.

In the legal papers obtained by The Sun, Mel allegedly writes: “I am shocked that our daughter would be forced to perpetuate a lie formed by her father simply to keep his mistress/girlfriend/nanny out of trouble.

“It is psychologically abusive for our little girl to be forced to keep secrets for her father or be made to believe that she cannot share what she wants… with her mother.”

Speaking candidly in September last year as part of her Brutally Honest stage tour, Mel revealed she was heartbroken as she was facing three months without seeing Madison.

“I will never be a US Citizen whether I am married, divorced or whatever.

“Unfortunately, my child is a US citizen. I have to go through a court system where I have to ask for a relocation order and that is in place as of next week and I may not see her now for the next three months while the judge makes a decision.”

Explaining how Madison is now based in the States to continue her education, Mel said: “It’s heartbreaking for me.

“I have had full custody of all my children but because I was over here doing the Spice Girls tour in May – even though my kids were all with me including Madison – she had to go back to start school.”

Explaining the reason behind the move, Mel added during her A Brutally Honest Evening With show in London: “Her father wouldn’t accept her starting school with her sister in Leeds.

“I have been divorced for nearly three years. They don’t leave you.

“The fact that they have a kid with you they have immediate access to them all the time.”
