Peter Andre says son Theo had ‘sad’ question but ‘life doesn’t work like that’

Peter Andre has detailed the heart-breaking question his eight-year-old son Theo asked him on family holiday, as he remains tight-lipped on his ‘feud’ with Katie Price07:33, 18 Aug 2025Updated 07:35, 18 Aug 2025Peter and Emily share three children together – who they keep very private(Image: Instagram/Peter Andre)Peter Andre has shared that his eight-year-old son Theo posed a poignant question during their family holiday last week. The Mysterious Girl singer, 52, used his weekly column in New! Magazine to give fans an update on their Cyprus getaway with wife Emily MacDonagh and their children, where Theo asked if they could relocate there permanently. This comes after Peter made headlines due to his tense relationship with ex-wife Katie Price, following their daughter Princess’s debut on her own ITV show. Katie alleges she’s been sidelined from the show by Peter and his management. Meanwhile, Princess Andre recently asserted her independence from her parents as she finally spoke out amid the controversy.Brushing off the drama, Peter reflected on his holiday, saying: “We’re home from beautiful Cyprus and life is back to normal. It’s always incredible spending time with the family, especially in our Cyprus home because they have been going there since they were babies. It actually got too hot because there was a heatwave and it knocked us for six – even I struggled with it. But Theo in particular was very sad to leave and, as always, asked if we could stay or even move there.Peter Andre has been on holiday with his family(Image: Dave J Hogan/Getty Images)”Sadly, life doesn’t always work like that and school is starting again soon! But he’ll be counting the days until we can return – hopefully when it’s a bit cooler.”Peter is father to Theo, Amelia and Arabella with wife Emily, plus eldest offspring Princess and Junior with Katie. Though he remained tight-lipped about the recent furore involving Princess, he did express in his column just how chuffed he is with the 18-year-old, reports the Mirror.Article continues below”I’m extremely proud of Princess and her show. I think she’s absolutely smashed it. She’s come across just how she is and how we know her to be – funny, quirky and kind. The response to The Princess Diaries has been phenomenal,” he revealed.Peter Andre released a statement about Junior and Princess(Image: Dave Benett/WireImage)The vocalist went on to say: “But even though her early success is fantastic, all I really want is for her to be happy. Hopefully, she can do season two, three, four – whatever she wants to do – and soar like an eagle because she’s a great kid and I’m so proud of her.”Whilst Katie frequently speaks openly about her children and former partner Peter, he typically remains quiet about their past relationship. Nevertheless, following Katie’s recent podcast claims that their children reside with her, alongside other allegations, Peter posted a statement on Instagram. He penned: “For 16 years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today.Peter Andre spoke out against ex-wife Katie Price’s ‘lies'(Image: Getty Images North America)”The latest comments about my children’s welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement.”He continued: “I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children.”He proceeded to reveal that the courts determined Katie “had made false claims” on two separate occasions, in 2011 and 2015, and that “she was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise to me and my management”.Article continues belowIn a final blow, Peter hinted this was merely the beginning of his counter-attack, declaring that her “baseless accusations” would be “dealt with in the coming months”.Want all the biggest Showbiz and TV news straight to your inbox? Brooklyn Beckham gave an emotional speech at his wedding vow renewal ceremony for his wife Nicola Peltz and addressed her family – but appeared to not mention his own21:50, 17 Aug 2025Updated 21:53, 17 Aug 2025Rumours of a rift in the Beckham family are rife (Image: nicolaannepeltzbeckham/Instagram)Brooklyn Beckham delivered a heartfelt address at his wedding vow ceremony, lavishing praise upon his wife Nicola Peltz’s relatives. Sources reveal that Brooklyn also “spoke movingly” about his spouse during the speech before 200 guests at his father-in-law’s property on August 2.An insider close to the pair revealed: “He spoke from the heart – and at the centre of his heart is Nicola who he loves very dearly, but also the Peltz family who have really stuck by his side. He wanted to recognise them all, and was determined to do them all justice.”Reports of the “heartfelt tribute” to Nicola’s parents, Nelson and Claudia, will compound the anguish of the Beckham clan, who have been frozen out of his existence. It’s believed there was no comparable acknowledgement of his own parents, David, 50 and Victoria, 51.Brooklyn Beckham with wife Nicola and father-in-law Nelson(Image: @nicolaannepeltzbeckham/Instagram)The ceremony witnessed actress Nicola, 30, donning a redesigned version of her mother Claudia’s bridal gown, with her father officiating the proceedings.Word of the address emerges as pals of the Beckhams are already “terribly worried” that Brooklyn is behaving “desperately out of character”, reports the Mirror.Article continues belowThe Lola star has faced accusations of cutting her husband off from not just his parents, but his wider family circle and mates as well. The entire Beckham dynasty – Cruz, Romeo, sister Harper, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins – were excluded from the American celebration. There’s also dismay in certain circles regarding the “gratuitous” aspect of the occasion, with the couple sharing countless snaps from their special day.Brooklyn and Nicola renewed their wedding vows recently (Image: nicolaannepeltzbeckham/Instagram)Some believe the Peltz-Beckham clan are “forcing it upon the Beckham family”. Numerous responses on the pair’s social media platforms seem to echo this view and are generally backing David and Victoria.Nevertheless, the Mirror revealed at the weekend how Brooklyn was reportedly devastated that his spouse is being held responsible for his family’s no-show at their vow renewal ceremony. An insider revealed: “It’s so rooted in misogyny. Everyone seems to forget Brooklyn is an adult man, fully capable of speaking out. Nicola would have respected all that he chose. It breaks his heart to see her painted as this vixen and viper.”Sir David and Lady Victoria were not part of the renewal ceremony(Image: Victoria Beckham Instagram)Wannabe chef Brooklyn, 36, has yet to officially comment on the dispute. However, this week he provided the strongest indication yet of his feelings by giving a thumbs up to an online message that questioned: “Why is it assumed she made the decision to exclude them? If he really wanted his parents there, they would be.”Reports of the rift between Brooklyn and his relatives first surfaced earlier this year when he was absent from his father’s 50th birthday celebrations in London. Yet the disagreement appears to have expanded beyond his mum and dad to encompass his siblings too.Article continues belowAn insider commented: “It’s just all so sad.”Have you joined Threads? The duo then took a moment to relax at the rear of their Tesla before driving off from the car park in Arden Hills, Minnesota. This sighting follows whispers that began swirling last year suggesting they were expecting their first child. The pair have yet to confirm whether the infant belongs to them, with the teaching duo now preferring to keep away from public attention.Abby and Brittany first captured the public’s imagination in 1996 when they featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show aged just six. This debut appearance sparked massive public fascination, eventually landing them their own TLC reality programme, Abby and Brittany.Abby and Brittany Hensel appeared on the TLC reality show “Abby & Brittany” in 2012(Image: Origin/Youtube)The show followed their journey as they completed university and navigated the challenging transition into adult life as conjoined twins, reports the Mirror.Article continues belowAbby married Joshua Bowling in 2021 and has already taken on the role of stepmother to his daughter Isabella from an earlier relationship, though she has previously voiced her hopes of growing their family further.”We’re going to be moms,” Brittany declared during Joined for Life: Abby and Brittany Turn 16 back in 2006. “We haven’t thought about how being moms is going to work yet.”Abby and Brittany are dicephalic parapagus twins, meaning they share a single torso with two heads attached, along with one pair of legs between them.Abby, positioned on the right side, manages the right arm and leg, whilst Brittany controls the left limbs.
