Mack had previously been shot with an arrow and struck with a rock, leading fans to believe he was dead.However, Mack is alive and John is ‘aiding him’ but refusing to let him leave, aware that he knows all his dark secrets. The latest episode saw Mack desperate to escape, knowing his best mate Aaron Dingle is now also in danger as his husband John has started drugging him.Mack informed John about Aaron’s affair with his ex Robert Sugden, John’s brother, and in an attempt to regain control over Aaron he began drugging him. This caused Aaron to collapse and have a seizure in the woods.Mack had barely escaped when he was stopped by John, who noticed his escape on the camera he’d installed. As John pledged to prevent Mack from leaving, he was distracted by Aaron shouting his name in distress, reports the Mirror.As Mack told him he needed to go and save Aaron, John hit him over the head with a rock to stop him from going anywhere. As he reached the road, he managed a faint smile, relieved to have escaped and collapsed to the ground as a vehicle pulled over.His thoughts immediately turned to Aaron and the danger he was in from John. When the driver emerged from the vehicle, Mack pleaded with them to help Aaron and put his own needs aside.The driver was revealed to be John and the situation took a dark turn. As John approached Mack, axe in hand, the episode ended with a cliffhanger as viewers were left wondering if Mack had met his demise.Although nothing has been confirmed fans were outraged by the twist, furious as they want Mack to survive and John to face justice. They’ve now taken to social media to air their grievances, criticising Katie’s apparent “lack of accountability and professionalism”.In a Facebook post, they stated: “Milton Keynes Pride Festival is a not-for-profit organisation. The official afterparty was booked and promoted as a fundraising event, with Katie Price contracted as the headline performer.”Despite repeated attempts of contact to fulfil this agreement, her management has confirmed she will not be honouring her booking. This decision was made at short notice and is entirely outside of our control.”The decision was made last-minuteThe group continued: “As a Pride organisation, we are committed to transparency. For context, much has already been reported in the media about Ms Price’s approach to her professional commitments.”, reports the Mirror.”While our community has consistently supported her, it is deeply regrettable that this support has not been reciprocated. Choosing not to meet her obligations to a charitable Pride event demonstrates a lack of accountability and professionalism, and we share in the community’s disappointment.”The organisers went on to request patience from revellers whilst they search for a substitute act. Nevertheless, they assured that Katie’s pullout wouldn’t spell disaster for the afterparty.”The afterparty will still proceed as planned at Pink Punters and we are currently working on a replacement for Katie Price,” the statement added. “Please allow some time for us to do this, and an announcement will follow shortly.”All ticket holders are encouraged to retain their tickets in support of the main Milton Keynes Pride Festival remaining free for all to attend. The award-winning show which has been running for thirteen years returns with the first episode of the new series on Friday (September 5) at 9pm on Channel 4.And five new groups will be sharing their takes on the latest and greatest TV moments, alongside fan-favourites like Dave and Shirley, Giles and Mary, The Siddiquis and Jenny and Lee. First up are friends Jake, 27, and Callum, 31, from Glasgow.We’ve also got the Gordon family from Surrey. The Gordons are comprised of 49-year-old Andre and 47-year-old Sarah, and their 25-year-old daughter Chee. It was previously feared Charity’s love had been brutally bludgeoned to death by John in the woods, but it turns out he was still alive and being held in a disused bomb shelter.It looked like Mack had managed to break free on Thursday night (September 4), but things took a horrifying turn. John had set up cameras realised Mack was out of the bunker as he was drugging husband Aaron, who had appeared to suffer a seizure.John set off to stop Mack escaping, only for a Aaron to stagger out into the woods. Mack began calling out to Aaron after realising what was going on. He begged John to save Aaron, insisting he needed help.He had made a bid for freedom, but John caught up to him(Image: ITV)But John hit Mack over the head with a rock to stop him fleeing the woods. Despite this, Mack managed to get up, and we saw him staggering towards a road at the end of the episode.With a broken ankle and other injuries, Mack had stumbled through the fields and made it onto the road. He smiled in relief, believing he was finally free. But as he fell to the floor, his hopes of being rescued soon faded.There was hints of another sickening murder twist on Emmerdale on Thursday night(Image: ITV)When a vehicle pulled over, Mack begged the driver to help Aaron, but in a horrifying twist, the driver was revealed to be John. He’d managed to catch up with Mack and this time, it seemed as if he wanted to finish off Mack for good..John emerged from the vehicle wielding an exe as Mackenzie laid on the floor helpless. His eyes widened with terror when he saw John walking towards him with the weapon in hand. John claimed “he’d helped Aaron like he said he would” before moving in on his victim.John drugged Aaron(Image: ITV)Mackenzie looked up terrified at what could be his final moments, and the screen faded to black.
