Amanda Holden brought a smile to fans’ faces this week, as she donned a Mrs Claus costume and tackled some household chores.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 49, bought a Santa Claus costume this season, and she’s certainly been getting her money’s worth.
Amanda kept the costume on as she tackled her windows, climbing up a ladder to scrub at the glass panes with a sponge.
Complete with a fur-trimmed hood, scarlet velvet sleeves and candy-cane striped tights, the mum-of-two was a vision in red as she completed the tiresome task.
Getting into the spirit of things, Amanda played the song When I’m Cleaning Windows by George Formby over the video, a smile on her face as she worked away.
In her caption, she wrote: “As I’m HOME FOR CHRISTMAS I thought I’d clean the…”
As usual, the comment section below was awash with compliments, with one fan writing “Wowzers,” as another added: “Always gorgeous.”
And a third joked: “Mine need doing if you’re offering Amanda!”
The glamorous costumes aren’t Amanda’s only contribution to the festive season – the BGT star also has a Christmas single on the shelves.
Last week, Amanda released the song Home For Christmas, which has been added to her debut album Songs From My Heart.
Discussing the heartwarming new track, she told The Sun: “It’s been a difficult year for us all but one of the positives to come from 2020 has been the extra time we’ve been given to engage with friends, neighbours, and our families.
“Home means love.
“This Christmas let’s all make that extra-special effort to connect in whatever way we can with one another.”
The new single will come as a delight to her millions of fans, who rushed to purchase her debut album when it was released earlier this year.
As a measurement of her success, Amanda won a major accolade – the Heart FM presenter was responsible for the highest selling debut album of 2020 so far by a British female solo artist.
