Chloe Ferry 'fined £10k by police for breaking quarantine rules' after holiday

It’s been reported that Chloe Ferry was “fined £10,000” for “breaking lockdown quarantine rules” after she returned home from a holiday in Turkey.

According to The Sun, the 25-year-old Geordie Shore star told her friends she’s been handed the maximum fine by police after failing to self-isolate at home following her Turkey trip.

An insider told the publication: “Chloe’s been telling everyone how upset she is – it’s a huge amount of money and she feels she was targeted because she’s famous.

“She came back from a shopping trip to find the police waiting for her on her doorstep,” the source added.

Chloe reportedly travelled to Turkey on October 3 to have breast reduction surgery, but it’s been said she failed to do the mandatory 14-day quarantine when she came back to her home in the North East of England.

The publication added that Chloe reportedly told her friends she was fined by police on October 21.

It’s reportedly not the first time Chloe broke quarantine rules as she was seen celebrating Halloween at a party in London.

The reality star partied in a crowded building despite Tier 2 lockdown rules that say separate households shouldn’t mix indoors.

Daily Star Online has contacted representatives of Chloe for comment.

Northumbria Police press office told Daily Star Online: “It is not our policy to issue comments on individuals who have been handed fines so we cannot assist with this query.”

The UK government’s guidelines state that if you travel to a country abroad that isn’t on the official “travel corridor” list, you must remain in quarantine at home for 14 days, to combat the risk of spreading coronavirus between countries.

It was announced in September that people in England who refuse an order to self-isolate could be fined up to £10,000.

Boris Johnson announced a second national lockdown over the weekend, so starting from this coming Thursday, all outbound international travel will be forbidden.
